Dixie Carter held a press conference promoting TNA’s live debut in the US tonigt. She said that the intention was to run the show live for 12 weeks as an experiment. She hinted at more reality-based storylines. She said that she is hoping to only run 6-8, instead of 12, pay-per-views a year. Good news for UK fans: she said that there would be more shows in UK.

In a press release for the show it was announced that there would be more unscripted segments, and more backstage production meetings and post-match critique. There will be a focus on more long-term booking and storylines. They also noted the positive response to the AJ/Daniels/Kazarian storyline and see this as a good direction. There will also be a lot more emphasis on fan interaction in the shows (hopefully this doesn’t mean constant talk of Twitter and Facebook).
